I agree with this post completely! I'm a nonmember who never spent much time trading (and had a habit of overpaying whenever I did...) and never got many rare items. Sometimes when I tried to make friends on AJ, they'd say things like "ugh, you don't have anything good on your list." or "Nah, you're probably a noob. u have nothing rare." and it irritated me a bit. :(
